I have nothing against those who are homos/lesbians, but Yaoi (and Yuri) just aren't my cup of tea. I especially find it annoying when I find shows/anime I like and in the fanart, characters turn out gay (when they're not) and/or make them butthump each other. Like NaruSasu, GokuVege, ZoroSanji, IchiRen, SakuHina, BulChi, and the rest. The list goes on. I respect them ONLY as friends/blood brother or sister/rivals, but nothing more.
I concur with everyone, i mean if they made a yaoi or yuri that wasnt all bout sex and getting freaky and actually had some form of story and plot that didn't entirely revolve around melodrama, sex, and kawaii-desu nonsense, that would be nice
I dislike anything to to with Hentai and its subtypes (Even Ecchi... Getting one panty shot or boob jiggle may be amusing... Getting one every min is annoying as hell) but... Just to tell you...Yaoi is abreviation for "yama-nashi ochi-nashi imi-nashi" which means "No peak (climax), no fall (resolution), no meaning (plot)" So it's gonna be pretty much about kawaii-desu guys (or more like, a kawaii-desu guy and a transgirl) + rape (mistaken for love) + drama 95% of the time.
Ah, I never knew it was abbreviation, I suppose everything makes sense now (and lol about the transgirl, i completely agree with that)
Me neither, until last year lol. Anyway, I'm glad I could help =)

Yeahh, It's funny how lots of fangirls(and some fanboys) use the "U HOMOPHOBE" card on those who don't like such genre, when if you taaaake a look at the character designs and their stated roles, It's pretty much stereotypically heteronormative (the "manly guy" is one head taller, small eyes, dominant, looks confident... The other one is shorter, skinnier, big eyes, blush, pout, cry, girly poses, a little bit of crossdress here and there... I'm pretty sure there are more characteristics, but I don't want to "dig a little deeper" since I'm pretty sure I won't like what I could find) and they still don't see it :iconfacepalmplz:

I'm not against real gays but I really hate yaoi. It seems like at one point, every one of my interests has yaoi in it. Let's see, Sonic, Angry Birds, Hetalia...the list goes on. It bugs me because I look for some actual fanart and then I find yaoi. :noes:
There's in Angry Birds?:noes: I will never look at it in the same way again..m
